Come and join me at 6 pm this Sunday, December 2nd, at sydney's for my first art opening in Portland. A series of self-portraits entitled come and listen will be on display the entire month. Enjoy the art, a hot cup of coffee, and amazing accoustic and keys by my talented friend, Baily Stauffer. Hope to see you there!

Becky

Taking advantage of the curiously dry last few days of fall, I had the opportunity and privilege of taking senior pictures for Becky, a graduating senior at Portland Christian School. We had a great time posing and shooting in the streets and alleys of Portland's beautiful Pearl District.

Dream Big

Stephanie, a senior attending Heritage Christian School, has been dancing with New Vision Dance Center since she was five years old. Her love and passion for dance is what drives her. It is people like Stephanie that inspire me. You see, when one follows their passion, it inevitably leads to their dream.

Stephanie

Te Amo, latin for "I love you", is not just a clever t-shirt, but are the words one teen's life exemplifies. Her love for her family, for the Lord, for dancing, and for life is evident the moment you meet her. Driven, ambitious, creative, and independent, Stephanie is one senior you will definitely want to keep your eyes on. This young woman is one of integrity. She is a Psalms 1 kind of girl in that "whatever she does prospers." From locks of love to a heart of gold, Stephanie is one amazing girl.

Parker

Anything but boring, Parker Alexander is so entertaining he will have you doubled over in laughter. This three year-old boy is not only clever, comical, and witty, he definitely knows how to have fun. Something we could all do more! He plays hard, laughs hard, and works hard. Following in his father's footsteps, even when Parker is exhausted from a hard day of play, he is never too tired to mow the lawn with his Fisher-Price bubble mower, drive his John Deere tractor, or ride along in Grandpa's truck to help feed the cows.

Here are some of my favorites from the shoot:

Thank you Parker for bringing me sunshine. You always know how to bring a smile to my face. If only everyone could have such an awesome nephew like mine! Too bad I'm not willing to share:)
