Graycyn Lea & Kinsley Lynn

Sweet. Soft. Sensitive. Times two. Twin Sisters, Graycyn Lea & Kinsley Lynn, are only a few months old, but they are already changing lives - at least mom and dad's. These twin girls are keeping them busy. Graycyn and Kinsley may share the same birthday, but they differ in looks and personality. They were a delight to photograph!

The Mitchell Family

Some of you may remember Autumn and Kevin, one of my awesome couples that will be married this spring. While in Kansas, we decided to take advantage of the last few days of summer by taking some family portraits.

Meet the Mitchells

With the Mitchells, comes their love of four-wheeling.

the perfect gift

Upon entering Macy's the warm, nostalgic aroma immediately stimulated my senses and transported me back in time. It is the oh so familiar smell of Christmas. Yes, I know it is only October and already I am enticed by peppermint candy and cinnamon sticks. As the mall begins to decorate their tree with ornaments and the weather grows cold, as consumers we can't help but to begin humming our favorite Christmas carols as we either get excited or suddenly nervous about making out this year's Christmas list. Sometimes Christmas shopping can be intimidating. What can I buy that is unique, creative, and personal? Something that can be enjoyed past the holiday season? Something that will be treasured for a lifetime. What is the perfect gift?

Let me make your life a little easier by introducing our brand new Christmas Gift Cards. Perfect for the senior who just recently had their pictures taken, but would love to buy some prints to pass out to friends. Perfect for the Bride to Be to have a professionally designed wedding album. Perfect for mom who treasures memories more than any other gift. Perfect for the family who hasn't updated their family portrait in five years. Gift Cards may be made out for any amount and may be applied towards any session, prints, albums, or events. Blair

Everyone has a dream. A dream that ought to be sought after. A dream that grows and changes as you do. What more perfect time to begin the pursuit than that of graduation. A time of new beginnings. A time that has been long anticipated, but of quick arrival. Graduating from Nevada High School this spring of 2008, for Blair, the time has come. Next fall, she will no longer rule the halls as a senior, but will be hitting the books as a new freshman in college.

Here are some of my favorite images from the shoot:

Yukie and Ryan: Wedding

There is nothing more rewarding than receiving grandma's blessing. Ryan's grandmother, Phyllis, is the family photographer. There were few moments in the day she was without a camera. There were even fewer times she wasn't complimenting, encouraging and building up everyone around her... including me. As a photographer, you spend the whole day with the bride and groom. It is always wonderful to feel like part of the family. I know that Ryan's family have already made Yukie feel right at home.

Yukie and Ryan met and fell in love at Portland Bible College. Both growing up in Japan, they share a lot in common. Before heading back home, Yukie and Ryan were married at City Bible Church, Portland, Oregon.

A few getting ready details...

The shoes

The first look

Several of Ryan and Yukie's friends and family flew in all the way from Japan. So we decided to have a little fun...

And of course a few of the happy couple...

And she sure was happy:)

My favorite image of the day

Yukie's mother taking it all in.

Yukie is so creative - she made these beautiful origami boxes herself and filled them with hershey kisses for each guest.

The final blessings and best wishes for the newly weds

Thank you Yukie and Ryan for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful wedding. It was truly a blessing.
