Suzy & Kyle

Simple. Sweet. Delightful. Suzy and Kyle are the warmest, most sincere couple. They are the best of friends and a true joy to be around. Suzy and Kyle are tying the knot September 17th, exactly four years from their very first date.

New Beginnings

Life is full of new beginnings.

Some are big. Like a new baby being born into this world, walking down the aisle after you just said "I do", or tossing your hat into the air at graduation.

Some are small. Like opening a new book you've been waiting for vacation to read, watching the season premiere of your favorite tv show, or trying out the latest hairstyle you found in a magazine.

All are significant.

A new beginning I am most enthralled with is the opening of Redbud Farms and Nurseries, a new family endeavor. After weeks of planting seeds, months of watering, and years of envisioning, a beautiful seed has finally come to fruition. Selling annuals, perennials, ornamental grasses, native plants, ground covers, herbs, vegetables and more, Redbud Farms and Nurseries opens next Tuesday, April 1st in my home town of Fort Scott, Kansas. What a perfect time for a new beginning. With plants sprouting and buds blooming, the time of growth, renewal, and change; it is the beginning of a new season, the beginning of Spring.

Changing Nations

When asked to photograph the senior class of Portland Bible College I was very excited. These are the same students I had the opportunity to sit in class with, listen to discussion and theological debates, study late into the night, make Starbuck runs, play football, serve, worship and pray with. These are the future world shakers. Individually they are powerful and gifted, but together they will change nations.

Lance and Anna

Lance had a thing for Anna since the first time he laid eyes on her his freshman year at Portland Bible College. Anna, of course, focused and determined, wanted nothing of the like. It's amazing how God changes our hearts. He knows better than we do what is good for us. Two degrees and seven years later, Anna and Lance look at one another with great care and adoration. These two are obviously crazy about each other. Anxiously awaiting to begin a new life together, these two are so excited to announce their upcoming wedding next month at the beautiful Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Taylor and Noelle

Fun. Quirky. Full of Life. Just a few words that describe the unique friendship this amazing couple shares. Their intensity, excitement and genuine care for each other took away the bitter chill from the cold January wind. Their happiness will be multiplied this May when they unite at Christian Faith Center in Federal Way.

Meet the Meekers

People never know how they will meet. Relationships can develop in the matter of minutes while waiting in line at your local New Seasons, others are cultivated over long hard hours spent in the workplace and some never make it past hello. While most of my clients are referrals, there are the occasional few who find me on their own. Coming across a card I left behind at sydney's cafe, one of my favorite coffee shops, Catherine not only found me, but also found the perfect birthday present for her mom. Two days later, we have captured moments in time and have created a lifetime of memories. What a wonderful gift.

The Moses Family

Rich, vibrant, warm, loving, respectful, endearing - these are just a few words to describe the unique bond shared between the Moses Family. Having never met them prior to the shoot, it was such an honor to be invited into their home for a family Christmas portrait. Just before Olivia and Stephanie headed back to California, they wanted to bless their mom with memories that would be treasured for a lifetime.

Thank you for the many laughs, your kind hospitality, and your amazing flexibility that made our time together so much fun!
