A relationship is so amazing. It goes through so many seasons... from the butterflies on a first date, to the comfort you receive from just hearing their voice. A relationship grows as it goes through changes, emotions, and phases. It is interesting how we constantly try to define it, our minds want to wrap around what our heart feels.

An engagement is so short lived, it is a piece in time you will never get back. One of excitement and anticipation. A relationship might start with a spark and end with a bright, shiny ring, but I would propose that this is merely the origin, not the destination. Engaged - marking only the beginning of a beautiful life that would never happen if it weren't spent together. What a perfect place in time to be... that will one day be a distant memory.

Hannah

The first time I met Hannah her smile embodied her love for life. This happy, go lucky girl brings laughter, peace, and joy everywhere she goes. But her love for reading and writing reveals a more serious side. Graduating this spring, Hannah is ready to embark on a new journey. A journey that will still involve those she loves most - her friends and family, but will open new doors and enlarge her realm of influence.

Megumi and Charles

Patience is a virtue. Megumi and Charles know this all too well. It was at Portland Bible College that Megumi and Charles first became friends and soon found love. After graduation she moved back to Japan to be with her family.

Two long years and many miles apart, their love has been tested by both distance and time, but their strength and commitment to one another has surpassed it all. Together again, they never want to leave each other's side. Because together just feels so right.
