Super Sunday

Four times a year City Bible Church, a multi-campus church in the Portland/Vancouver metro area, comes together for a night of prayer, dynamic praise and worship. Not one person leaves without being touched and changed by God’s abiding presence... not even the kids.

Ranjy + Shine = Sydney

When hired to shoot a few lifestyle images for Valhalla Enterprises' upcoming website, I was so excited to find out I would be photographing the Thomas family in the comfort of their newly remodeled home. Although it is not completely finished and furnished, it is no wonder that they were chosen for this session. Talk about a beautiful family who loves to have fun, loves each other and loves life.

Ranjy has a super creative company called Flying Rhino that brings encouragement and hope to children through programming, books, classroom materials, cartoons, software and websites. You may have seen his building downtown (the one with a rhino flying through the wall).

Ellie and Jason

"It starts with a spark and ends with a bright, shiny ring."

A relationship is so amazing. It goes through so many seasons... from the butterflies on a first date, to the comfort you receive from just hearing their voice. A relationship grows as it goes through changes, emotions, and phases. It is interesting how we constantly try to define it, our minds want to wrap around what our heart feels.

An engagement is so short lived, it is a piece in time you will never get back. One of excitement and anticipation. A relationship might start with a spark and end with a bright, shiny ring, but I would propose that this is merely the origin, not the destination. Engaged - marking only the beginning of a beautiful life that would never happen if it weren't spent together. What a perfect place in time to be... that will one day be a distant memory.
