Three Generations, One Tradition

Brand new buildings are emerging every day. New boutiques, restaurants and cafes are bringing life downtown. But nothing is new about Caffe Umbria, a brand new Bolighus design in the new Casey Building on 12th and Everett. Although they have just opened their doors, their family roots in roasting go back to the 1940's when Ornello Bizarri built his original roastery in Perugia, Italy. Carrying on the tradition for three generations, grandson Emanuele Bizzari is building upon his grandfather's legacy. Passed down from generation to generation, Caffe Umbria is providing us with an authentic Italian cafe bar experience. Their motto, "Good coffee begins with Good Family" is proving to be true. Their newest retail store has already made the pages in the January issue of Northwest Palate. And it won't be long for them to make an impression on you too.

Here are a few images from the preparation for their grand opening...

Whether you need an italian espresso, gelato, panini, pastry, fine wine or an authentic Italian hug and kiss, Caffe Umbria is your place to go! Stay tuned for more...
